Four dimensions that determine AI success
Ambitions
Transformation starts with a clear intention.
In the assessment, we figure out what role AI should play in the company and how strongly this ambition is already anchored. How clear is your AI vision and your target image? Is there commitment and are there strategic guidelines?
The result shows how mature the strategic approach to AI is – and whether everyone involved shares the same target image.
Capabilities & Enablers
AI can only succeed if the organisation, technology and people are ready. Can the necessary AI skills and roles be found in yout company? Are responsibilities, governance and structures regulated? What about the technical infrastructure, tools and development environment? The availability and quality of necessary data?
These factors show how well your company could actually implement AI – regardless of ambition or the number of use cases.
Use Cases
AI is effective when actual use cases are strategically embedded. In the assessment, we examine the current status of the company-wide use case portfolio. How do you identify use cases and their potential for your company? Is there ongoing performance monitoring based on relevant KPIs to make sustainable investment decisions?
This reveals how systematically your company deals with AI use cases and where structures are still lacking.
Execution
Strategy and capabilities only become effective when implementation is structured. The execution dimension of the assessment considers how AI initiatives are managed, prioritised and operated. How are AI projects structured and monitored throughout their project lifecycle, and are there processes and responsibilities in place for continuous improvement?
This clearly shows how well a company is able to deliver on AI initiatives and where operational hurdles lie.
Clarity in weeks instead of months
We guide you through the entire process in precise steps – from defining your goals to creating an action plan – so that you can get started right away.
Transparency first: answers to the most frequently asked questions
For which companies is the assessment suitable?
The assessment is suitable for companies that want to use AI or have already launched initial initiatives and want to systematically understand their level of maturity. The assessment is particularly useful before making major investments in order to make informed decisions. It also helps companies where AI initiatives are currently stalling or where teams have very different assessments and approaches to AI within the company.
How long does the entire assessment take?
Usually five to six weeks. One week of preparation, two weeks of interviews, one week of analysis and one to two weeks of joint interpretation. The process is deliberately kept lean so that you can quickly gain clarity and take action.
How many employees should participate?
For meaningful results, we recommend at least five participants per group. The groups represent the different perspectives within the company – for example, IT, data/AI teams, specialist departments or management. This allows for a realistic view of differences, similarities and possible blind spots.
Which areas does the assessment cover?
The assessment is based on ten dimensions that are important for the success of AI initiatives – from ambition and use cases to data, technology, culture, expertise and execution. Each dimension consists of defined items that make the degree of maturity objectively measurable.
What results will we ultimately obtain?
You will receive a comprehensive picture of your current AI maturity level, including benchmarking with European companies, a detailed analysis for each dimension, and specific recommendations for action. In the workshop, we will work together to determine which measures are particularly important and what priority they should be given.
Is the procedure compliant with data protection regulations?
Yes. The assessment meets high data protection and security standards. The survey is anonymous. No personal data is collected, no real names are stored and no information about individual participants is visible. The data is processed and stored in encrypted form. The entire process is designed in such a way that it is impossible to identify individual participants.
What are the advantages of the assessment for our company?
You gain clarity about the status quo, identify diverging perspectives and find out where you need to make structural or organisational adjustments. The assessment also provides a sound basis for your AI strategy and the direction of future initiatives. Many companies also use it to measure progress over several years.
