LØWEN Hamburg: the table football champions

LØWEN Hamburg and Holisticon have shared a love of table football for many years now, and as a sponsor we have been supporting the table footballers on their successful journey through national and international tournaments for many years. In this time the team secured the title of German table soccer champions several times, as well as the bronze medal in the European Champions League. Løwin Linh Tran has made table football history together with Løwin Ecaterina Sârbulescu in doubles: in 2023, the two achieved a Grand Slam: they won all three “ITSF World Series” Major tournaments.

During their regular visits, the LØWENs shared their table football knowledge with us, showed us how we can improve our skills at the table - and that we can still learn a lot from them. Team captain Linh Tran sums up our partnership perfectly:

No room for the right: Loud against Nazis

The growing influence of right-wing extremist parties in Germany and the consistently high numbers of right-wing extremist crimes and acts of violence clearly show how important the work of associations such as “Laut gegen Nazis” is. Among other things, the Hamburg-based association supports initiatives and alliances against right-wing extremism in their public relations work, forms networks and offers advice and support at local events.

With campaigns such as the recent “Right against the Right”, the association also ensures that Nazis cannot spread their anti-democratic and anti-human slogans unhindered. To this end, they use trademark law: they have the abbreviations used by Nazis protected - and therefore have the rights to use them, can prohibit right-wing online stores from distributing them on merchandise and, in case of doubt, sue them for damages.

The Holisticon cycling team: on tour together

At Holisticon, we have a passion for team spirit and working together towards a common goal. That's why we sponsor a group of young men and women who have dedicated themselves to road cycling with great enthusiasm and ambition. They train together regularly and take part in everyman races throughout Germany.

However, as the bike team doesn't just want to take, but also give, we meet up for joint activities, such as at Hanseatic Help. As a group of companies, you can organize a social day or corporate volunteering there, where the group lends a hand for a few hours.

More music: RockCity Hamburg

We all love music, but where it comes from, working and living conditions are often precarious. RockCity Hamburg e.V. has therefore been passionately committed to musicians in Hamburg for 35 years and promotes a vibrant Hamburg music scene.

Together with music networks and companies, politicians and authorities, the association works on projects and funding programs that structurally and sustainably improve the working conditions of musicians in Hamburg. This also includes coaching, advice and further training, support funds, for example for tours, networking opportunities, information events and concerts, conferences and festivals.

DEEPWAVE - Marine protection that goes deep!

The marine conservation organization DEEPWAVE was founded in spring 2003 by marine biologist and deep-sea researcher Onno Groß together with a small group of ocean enthusiasts in Hamburg. Since then, it has successfully campaigned regionally and internationally for the protection of the ocean ecosystem and its inhabitants through public relations work, campaigns and projects.

HSG Pinnau Cup: Promoting handball regionally

Handball as a field sport requires agility, coordination and speed. Handball as a team sport promotes self-confidence, courage and team spirit. Handball as a club sport develops organizational talent and personal responsibility. These are the characteristics that connect us with the handball players of HSG Pinnau. So it was easy for us to say “yes” when the organizers of the HSG Pinnau Cup 2022 approached us for the first time with a sports sponsorship request.

The annual handball tournament in Pinneberg near Hamburg attracts a large number of young teams to the north. We are delighted to be involved as a sponsor.

KONFETTI-Café mobile

Dementia tends to scare many people; it is often a strange or unpleasant topic. This means that those affected and their relatives often withdraw from social life and public spaces. The mobile Confetti Café wants to change this: It wants to create a meeting place where people with and without dementia can come together in a creative and invigorating environment.

A Piaggio APE 50 box equipped with comfortable seating and delicious coffee is intended to make this possible, while opportunities for creative development are also provided in cooperation with artists and cultural workers. In the long term, the initiators want to destigmatize the topic of dementia and improve the quality of life of people with dementia and their relatives.

MENTOR - Reading tutors from Hamburg

Every 5th child cannot read properly. Children from disadvantaged families are particularly affected by this, and the risk of them being left behind on their educational path is increasing. To reduce these injustices and give all children a chance to participate in society, the association MENTOR - Die Leselernhelfer HAMBURG is committed to promoting reading at 129 schools. Children and young people are supported in learning to read on a one-to-one basis.
